    Default Rushmore Group

    Invaders from the Planet Moolah
Who operate Cherry Red, Slots Oasis and Rushmore Casino seem to be on a downward slope. Reports of players not being paid or having their winnings being processed dragged out over several weeks.

My to do list for today:

Remove Rushmore and their sister casinos from Online Casino Reviewer.

Also worth noting that many US Facing Online Casinos could be experiencing cashflow issues as a result of the ewallet express shutdown in the middle of November....

Players and webmasters tread very carefully.

    Thanks for that.

I have been considering their placement on my sites for quite some time now, mainly because of the increasing player issues, but also something just does not seem right with their marketing arm; according to them I have had ZERO players signing-up or playing at their casinos after clicking links on my sites for nearly 6-months now, despite having regular activity every month before that, and other similar casinos on the same sites still all doing OK.

It is a shame, but this group definitely seem to be on the slide...

Yep, something is not right. I have a feeling that those programs that heavily rely on the US Market may also be feeling the pinch....

Generally best to steer clear of those casinos who market to US players. Why? If they're happy to flout a law like that (ok, some US states do allow online gaming, but most do not), then goodness knows what other laws they're happy to break.

I've not heard any good about Cherry Red etc for some time now. There were murmurs on another site some time back about possible player issues.

I tend to only advertise those sites I've played with myself over a period of time, or have had positive experiences with. Just as a precaution. The last thing I want is readers going on to play with a casino, getting a lucky streak, and then not getting paid. That affects not only the casino's credibility, but the credibility of the site they were referred from.

Has there been any word on this group? Have they gone over to the dark side for good? Yikes, I sure hope not.

Hard to say - but my gut feel is... probably.

At the conference in London last weekend I met a guy who used to work for them and who is personal friends with one of the "top bods"; I asked him about Rushmore & he said they are an honest operation.

However, recent slow payments to players with absolutely no explanation is unacceptable in my book. Also all my affiliate income with them totally dried up over 6 months ago, which seems a little odd.
So all in all I think they are more trouble than they are worth and probably best avoided. I will be totally removing them from my sites very soon.
It's a crying shame that they seem to have turned bad...

Here's the reality: if you promote a certain casino chain, and it goes from generating revenue one month to ZERO for an extended period, then things start to look a bit fishy. Unless you've done major site / content changes etc.

Any casino with any kind of player payout delay is unacceptable in my book. If a player is waiting more than a few business days for payouts to reach their account, then they should be avoided.

The reputable UK based casino chains have no issues paying their players on time, on the whole. It's those casinos that promote to the US market, or sit in jurisdictions like the Netherlands antilles, Tortola, Panama and the like that I've seen most complaints about over the years.

From an affiliate perspective, I am still earning some monies from Rushmore each and every month and they are paying within the month for the last 6 months or so. With no late payments.
