I just got an e-mail from CAP giving their 10 worst affy programs of the last year.
I think it is very interesting and a good guide for affiliates & players alike to avoid these people, so I'm posting the list here!
1. Cpays/Affiliates United. (William Hill Casino + 5 other PlayTechs)
Although now owned by the respected William Hill Online, Cpays/Affiliates United crew generates a lot of negative buzz from affiliates.
2. Best Casino Partner (BCP) (Several VegasTech casinos - now all closed down)
BCP generated dozens of complaints from affiliates for everything from simple non-payment to accusations of turning their site into a portal to funnel traffic other sites.
3. Grand Prive (Grand Bay, Bella Vegas, Jupiter Club, Lake Palace, Roadhouse Reels, Fortune Junction, Jackpot Wheel, Villa Fortuna)
They notoriously closed their affy program, cutting off all their marketing partners while still continuing to operate and make money from the referred players. Despicable behaviour!
4. Jackpots Heaven (Now closed)
Back in 2010, Jackpots Heaven committed just about every offence an online casino could make. The list of offences included illegally using competitor’s software; claiming to be located in Costa Rica and regulated by a bogus regulatory agency. (Their servers were actually located in the U.K.; stealing a competitor’s terms and conditions; hiring shills to post in forums as happy customers; and more.
5. Golden Arch Casino (Now closed)
For years, Golden Arch casino offered predatory credit practises to players and shady dealings to affiliates. Baltimore PD created a fake credit card processing company to help nail the company for money laundering and gambling charges.
6. Money-Play Casino
Repeated reports of non-payment to Players and Affiliates.
7. Gambling Wages (Virtual Group)
They’ve been around since 2002 when they were known as Virtual Casino Group, and have been making appearances on Rogue and Blacklists pretty much ever since. They are regularly accused of missing payments and shortchanging affiliates, as well as numerous cases of "player abuse".
8. BWin (BWin casino & sports book)
Bwin retroactively changed the terms and conditions of their affiliate program, earning themselves instantaneous rogue status.
The new terms not only cut off revenue streams, they weighed almost every clause in the contract in Bwin’s favor. Affiliates were expected to jump through a lot of hoops to get money they’d rightfully earned and were also expected to continue sending players Bwin’s way if they wanted to retain revenues.
9. Be The Dealer
Be The Dealer (BTD) is one of those rogue casinos that been getting away with shortchanging affiliates and players for years. A quick search of affiliate forums brings up a laundry list of complaints against the firm going back almost ten years.
10. Red Hot Revenue
Red Hot Revenue’s is another rogue that just doesn’t seem to care what kind of reputation they carry in the affiliate world. They’re regularly accused of non-payment and have been blacklisted and labeled Rogue by almost every credible watchdog site on the Internet, but they still keep playing the same game.
