Default Rumour: RTG to pull out of the USA...?

    Invaders from the Planet Moolah
Partly rumour and partly speculation, but I would not be surprised if RTG pulled ALL their casinos out of the USA early next year...

They have introduced a "spin-off" software called NuWorks which a few casinos have already switched to, despite the fact they only have a handful of games at the moment.

My speculation is that they are trying to do what MG did a few years ago when they introduced Level11 software which allowed USA players after MicroGaming themselves shut down all their casinos in the USA.

Time will tell I suppose - but remember where you heard it first!

    I support your hypothesis.

On the same point, I'd be quite happy to see RTG software casinos closed worldwide. So many of them seem to end up rogue. The software may not be to blame necessarily, but the licensing authorities governing these casinos may well be...

In any case, listed software providers like Playtech and Microgaming are probably safer to play in. Well, that's what I've found personally anyway. Thoughts?

There are some excellent RTG casinos - but you are right that they are sadly outnumbered by the rogue operators
I agree with you about MG, but not Playtech, who are similarly plagued by rogue & dodgy operators.

I have always thought it very strange that the likes of RTG & Playtech seem happy to allow their product to be used by the cowboy outfits, damaging their brand name as a whole and tarnishing the good casinos.
I would NEVER allow it, if I owned the software.
