Lightbulb A little help with my University paper!

    Invaders from the Planet Moolah
    Hello everyone!

I'm new to this forum so first of all - hello everyone!
I personally love poker and treat it as a hobby. Currently I study at UCL and I am writing my dissertation on the Influence of technology on the gambling industry. I was wondering if anyone here could help me a bit by filling in the following survey:

    http://kwiksurveys.com?u=gambling

It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.

The answers are completely anonymous and you'll have a chance of winning 20 pounds worth of credit for your favourite poker room or a 20 pounds amazon voucher.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

I have allowed your post to stand, even though your survey contains adverts (some of which are gambling related) which is HIGHLY unusual for a survey of this nature.

Question No.5 is really stupid - the same mistake nearly every survey makes:
"How much do you spend on gambling? (in Euro)"
    What does "spend" mean?
Does it mean how much do you deposit? Or how much do you wager? Or how much do you lose?
The question does not give any options for people who regularly win!
For example, I have been winning online since 2001 - in my best year (2008) I made over $12,000 profit, so my "Spend" during that year was about -$236 per week.

    Otherwise, not a bad survey!

Good luck with your survey, and good to see you are studying at a worthy institution. Curious to know what University College London wants to know about poker play, but hey, I'm no academic... I'm not a survey filler as too many companies use those to market these days or for identity theft - but I'm sure you'll get a reasonable response rate.
