Major software providers license globally famous brands

Online slots fans can look forward to some exciting new games with familiar & famous themes, hopefully in the near future.

CBS Consumer Products has announced the signing of three licensing agreements to bring some of its top properties to online casino games.

Top software providers G-TechG2, IGT & WMS were the successful applicants, & will develop a range of games featuring the "CSI" scientific crime busters & the futuristic "Star Trek" this year.

G-Tech was awarded the licence for "CSI;" IGT acquired licensing for Star Trek - the 2009 movie; & WMS will handle "Star Trek," - the original TV series.

IGT has been fast off the mark with its licence, announcing that it will be showing demos of its Star Trek game at ICEi Totally Gaming in London next week.

"This is a great area of growth for our business, & these deals lay the foundation to bring more of our brands to online casino gaming," said Liz Kalodner, executive vice president & general manager of CBS Consumer Products.
