The $1 600 buy-in event pulled in a field of 496 players, with many recognisable names among them, generating a prize pool of almost $715 000.

Final table competitors were led by Chris Johnson, closely pursued by Alex Santiago, Adam Hui & Brian England, & followed by Jon Seaman, John Kulish, James Martini, Dave Stann, Matthew Leecy & Derrick Kuenzel.
