Cantor Gaming chief says on-premises wireless gamblikng could generate $18.5 million in additional tax revenues
Lee Amaitis, the president of mobile gambling technology firm Cantor Gaming, has informed a Senate Judiciary Committee that allowing guests to gamble using mobile devices in their hotel rooms & within the premises of licensed US land casinos, could deliver an additional $18.5 million in tax revenues.
Amaitis revealed that customer surveys conducted by his company, which has active mobile 'in-premises' experience, had shown that the most popular location to play mobile games was in hotel rooms. He added that security measures included in the technology prevent underage gambling & other concerns of the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Canotr Gaming is among the pioneers of the technology, which allows casino resort guests to gamble from anywhere on the premises.
