The independent online poker monitoring site Pokerscout had depressing news this week, reporting that the total worldwide online poker market has declined by 18 percent over the past year, & has been shaken by the events of Black Friday & Blue Monday.

The monitoring site gives a few examples of the impact of this reduction & of the US enforcement moves:

888 Poker has also fared well & is up 73 percent, whilst Bodog - with its new .eu precautionary move - is also up by 45 percent.

Among the smaller networks, Yatahay shone with a traffic boost of 195 percent

Operators who have not done so well include Cereus, which has reportedly suffered a catastrophic decline of 96 percent; Everest Poker, which down 67 percent; the Cake network saw decreases in traffic of 47 percent; GTechG2's IPN is down 43 percent; Full Tilt traffic sank 35 percent; Pokerstars saw a 25 percent reduction; & Microgaming's poker network showed a fall of 25 percent.
